Anthony Lue Foundation Announces Inaugural Gala - An Evening to Empower and Transform Lives

Centennial College, Scarborough, ON — The Anthony Lue Foundation will host its first annual fundraising gala on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Centennial College, bringing together community members, corporate partners, allies, and advocates to fund a single mission: helping people with disabilities lead active, healthy lives through recreation, technology, and mobility aids. 

The formal evening will feature a cocktail reception, plated dinner, lived-experience storytelling, and silent auction much more. Proceeds will fund the Foundation's first program year of grants for mobility equipment, adaptive sport and outdoor recreation, and assistive technology for people with disabilities across the Greater Toronto Area. 

"For too many people, the difference between a life of independence and a life of waiting comes down to whether they can afford the right equipment or get into the right program," said Anthony Lue, Founder of the Anthony Lue Foundation. 

The Foundation's three pillars are deliberate. Mobility aids put people in motion: custom wheelchairs, walkers, and transfer equipment matched to each individual. Adaptive recreation restores joy: sport, fitness, and outdoor experiences designed to be inclusive. Assistive technology unlocks independence: communication devices, smart-home tech, and computing tools that make school, work, and family life more accessible. 

Ticket sales start July 17th and early-bird tickets are $120 until July 31st, and $150 thereafter. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $10,000, including a single Title Sponsor with full event branding rights.
